Did anyone else catch the BBC news item yesterday about the remarkable  Mud House?

I know I should, but for some reason, this is one I can't get excited about

Still, it did made its mark in here, so won't go completely unnoticed.

Mud houses or barns are quite common in France and not unknown in the SW of England but probably quite rare up here because of the climate.  They always have (in France and down south) deep eaves to try and keep the rain off of the walls.  I would be surprised if there were many left up here, possibly only one.
